Perez Pietri, Andres (Andy), age 5, passed away suddenly in Ann Arbor on New Year's Day after a brief illness. Andy was growing up in Ann Arbor and attended High Point School. Perez, Francisca, 84, of Midland Beach, a retired housekeeping aide, died Thursday in the Clove Lakes Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Castleton Corners. Born Francisca Guzman in Bayamón, PR, she moved to Manhattan in 1949 before settling in Midland Beach in 1952. She worked as a housekeeping aide for the former Richmond Memorial Hospital, Prince's Bay, for 21 yrs., retiring in 1980. Mrs. Perez enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, and spending summers in her native PR, which she had done for the last 20 yrs. She was a member of the Inglesia Hermanos Unidos En Cristo Church, Midland Beach. Her husband, Jose, died in 1984, and her son, Jose M., died in 1967. "She was a wonderful mother who sacrificed for her children and was always there for everybody," said her daughter, Maria Arocho.
