 Henry, Aida I., 50, of 1635 Centre Ave. died of natural causes Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she had been a patient 10 days. Born in Yabucoa, PR, she was a daughter of the late Bonesacio and Merejilda (Cruz) Cintron. Henry, who resided with Javier DeJesus, is survived by a daughter, Ruth J. (Ortiz) Lembric, Reading; and 5 sons: Julio A. and Julio R. Ortiz and Juan O. and Luis O. Velasquez, all of Reading; and Santos O. Velasquez, Buffalo, NY. Other survivors include a brother, Jose B. Hernandez Mendez, Margarita, 38, and her daughter, Tanyaliz Torres, 18, both of 59 Loring St., died Sunday at home, the victims of a double homicide. Luis A. Torres, 56, husband to Hernandez and father of Torres, was held without bail after being arraigned Tuesday in Springfield District Court on 2 charges of murder. Hernandez had been employed as a nurse's aide at the Genesis Health Center. Her daughter was a senior at Putnam Vocational High School and worked as a part-time waitress at the Best Western Restaurant. Each was born in Naguabo, PR, and had been a resident of Springfield for the past 18 years. Each was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and a member of the Bale Tipico Puerto Riqueno. Hernandez leaves a son, Luis Omar of Springfield; her parents, Jose Hernandez and Aida M. Hernandez, Anibal (Rosa), 58, of Kodak, Tennessee, formerly of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at Baptist Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He was born October 17, 1942 in Camuy, PR. Mr. Hernandez retired from Sealmaster on Farnsworth Ave. after more than 25 yrs. of dedicated service. Following his retirement, he moved to Kodak, Tennessee and worked at Beltz Mall as a maintenance supervisor. Survivors include 2 sons, John (Beth) Hernandez and Nathan Baggot; 2 daughters, Iris (Jeff) Canary and Leynnett Belcher; 3 step-daughters, Alicia, Renita and Becky; one step-son, Junior; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his former wife, Patricia Hernandez; 2 brothers, Ismael (Virginia) Perez and Gilbert (Maribel) Hernandez; 5 sisters, Juana (Saturnino Colon) Perez, Mildred (Ferdinand) Silva, Aramita (Anibal) Marquez, Elia (Alfonso) Vela and Migda (Jose) Torres and numerous nieces and nephews. Huertas, Trinidad "Don Trini", 105, died Thursday, Jul 19, in the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain HIL He was the husband of the late Hemenejilda (Gonzalez) Huertas. He worked at the former Sure Fit Manufacturing Co., Bethlehem, and in construction. Before coming to the United States from Puerto Rico, he was a prison guard in Humaco, a foreman at a sugar cane plantation and worked in a monastery. Born in Caguas, PR, he was a son of the late Canuto Huertas and Maria Huertas. He was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where he was a member of the Legion of Mary Society and a volunteered for the past 50 yrs. He was a Eucharistic minister, a foundering member of the Corsillo Movement in the Lehigh Valley and was a leader in the Marriage Encounter Retreats in the Allentown Diocese.
