Fajardo, Matilde Lucretia, age 77, passed away on Mar 10, 2000 at Genesys Regional MedicalCenter. Funeral service will be held 1PM Thursday, Mar 16, 2000 at the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church, Dr. Lawrence Kent will officiate. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Knuth will remain at the Dodds-Dumanois Funeral Home. Friends desiring may make memorial contributions to the International Institute. She was born on November 23, 1922 near Juncos, PR. She resided in Flint, MI continuously since 1945. For over 35 yrs. she brought to the community her knowledge and experience of Spanish language and culture by being a spanish language teacher for both adults and children through various programs sponsored by the Mott Foundation, International Institute, area colleges and public schools. She now joins her beloved husband, Earl Knuth, who preceded her in death in 1981.
