Ancestors Submittal Form

Here are a few simple guidelines:

• To satisfy privacy issues, DO NOT post information for anyone still living!
   
• Do not use Spanish characters like diaeresis (¨), accent (´). Remember that these characters will never be used in people's names or surnames on this site.
   
• You can enter dates almost any way you want except spell out the month for me. i.e. 10 Sep 1914.  Here is why, in Spanish 09/10/1914 means October 9, 1914 but in English it translates to September 10, 1914. Make sure you enter at least one date or an approximation such as "Circa 1800's", or "abt 1845".  The program uses this date to determine if an ancestor is still living.  Important!  If both fields (birth and death) are left blank, the form will be discarded.
   
• You can increase your chances of making a connection if:
  • You enter as much information as you know.
  • You enter your information accurately.  Take a few minutes to review it before you submit it.
     
• VERY IMPORTANT!   Use the TAB key to go to the next entry field; if you use the ENTER key, you will send the form to be processed without information in the remaining fields.
   
• All submissions are subject to editing.
   
• Submitted data will be process and added to the New Entries surname page on a first come first serve basis.
   
• Remember to keep your data current by submitting changes as they occur to this site. Email address is also extremely important to keep current if you want to make a connection. Submit your changes via email DO NOT use the form for that purpose.
   
• If your ancestor was not born, married or died in Puerto Rico, we cannot include him/her on these pages.

Example of a processed and posted surname

Please allow 7-14 working days for your request to be processed and data posted into the NEW ENTRIES surname page. Posting on the site can take longer if the host of this site is away on business or for personal reasons.

After a while, and as time permits, the new entries will be moved to the alphabetical surname pages and will remain there as long as your e-mail address stays in effect.  Our system will detect if an e-mail is invalid or closed and your query will be deleted if we don't hear from you within a reasonable time.
